What to expect on a Mount Batur sunrise jeep tour

This note uses only the timetable published by Batur Best Jeep Sunrise Guide. Sunrise timing shifts through the year, and weather is not guaranteed.

If you meet on site

On the Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep Tour (IDR 350,000 per person) you meet at 04:00. The jeep starts at 04:30, the sunrise stop is listed at 05:30, breakfast at 06:30, Black Lava at 07:00, and the return ends around 08:30. You arrange your own way to the meeting point. Confirm that point before you leave.

If the hotel picks you up

The hotel transfer package lists pickup between 02:00 and 03:30, depending on the hotel, then the same jeep sequence, with a return transfer after 08:30. Be in the lobby at the agreed time. Ubud is IDR 450,000 per person. Kuta, Seminyak, and Canggu are IDR 550,000.

What is already paid

Both packages include the jeep, a local guide, breakfast, mineral water, the sunrise viewpoint, and Black Lava. The transfer package also includes parking and the hotel ride. Hot spring tickets, tips, and personal spending are extra. Photography with an iPhone 14 Pro or newer is optional and priced separately.
